Do you offer paid time off for who employees are serving on Jury Duty? And if so, what is the maximum number of days per year that you provide?”

If you are required to serve on a jury, your employer must give you the time off. However, we provide paid time off for jury duty with no maximum to encourage employees to be a part of the process. The daily money received by the employee while on jury duty (outside of childcare and parking expenses) are provided back to the employer to off-set costs.

Jury Duty is paid time off with our organization, and there is no maximum.

The previous organization I worked for, Jury duty was paid time off with no maximum. All monies the employee received while on jury duty was paid back to the employer.

I am not sure what the policy is at my current employer.
